NVWOCI WVS
I made the dropouts myself (there's a disc mount on the left one too) and I syole the BB shell and headtube from an old steel xc frame.

NVWOCI WVS
minimum geo: 1070, 380, +30 (this is how it's designedto run)maximum geo: 1095, 405,+30 (this is with the wheel all the way back in the dropouts)It's heavy, butit's not really to ride, it's just for the tech project! Luke Rainbird
I'm assuming that you're aiming for a decent grade, and as such have looked into modelling the frame, testing it etc so you know what to put into the final product, but that rear end just looks like it's totally unsupported, or are you still looking to add the seat tubes and gusset/plate? STC
MINT I want to make one now
forteh
And why is it that heavy doesnt look.Straight butted steel tube = heavy To build a lightweight steel frame you need to invest very heavily in materials and tooling.
Muel
It ain't mod. But it is well cool, how heavy is it?If it's around 2.5kg it'll be reet, get it ridden.
Mark W
With the plates and stuff all on, I think 2.5kg might be a bit optimistic. The T-Bone I tested ages ago that was straight gauge was the heaviest frame in the world, ever. Literally the heaviest frame I've run, either BMX or trials Looks sweet though dude, looking forward to seeing the finished product

NVWOCI WVS
Ah right though it was aluminium.I wish! If we had the equipment at school and if I could weld aluminium it would be but the truth is I can't weld for shit and our school is a biy pikey!
