Endohopper Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 It's really a matter of personal prefference , and shoe " fold " needn't be a bad thing , certainly prefferable to an overly stiff sole . Whether you prefer platform or caged pedals as long your shoes offer plenty of grip and a bit of feedback feel , the only other consideration is a decent design / colour . You could get all geeky and weigh 'em for that ultra competitive edge . Many riders including myself prefer skate type shoes - Vans in my case , and with regards to trials specific shoes Tartybikes offer a good selection . I can hold one of the shoes in my hand and get the toe of the shoe to touch the heel! The rubber is just like a bone that has been in Coca Cola for the past week!!!What do you mean "feedback feel?"Yeah, I would tend to go skate type but I absolutely hate the real puffy padded look with laces that go straight across and are wild colors!!!! Tkmax is good as they do cheap good make skate trainers.If you want to go all out get the ribos sv1's i think it is from tarty. They are about 80quid and where teated and designed by tartys for ribo.
