Ezg_Cannuck
Hey all,Just wondering if anybody's used the Try-All 108 freewheel and how well it's stood up to abuse. I like the idea of 108 engagements, but if it isn't reliable or durable, it's not worth the money...Comments pleaseCheers
cai
USE THE SEARCH BOYO!This has been mentioned thousands of times, some say they explode after a couple of weeks, some say theres has lasted for 6months+But I can't say anything about them as I have never gone near one - Tensile's are the best! Walleee
If you have he money id say get an eno, you wont miss the engagements and will see where the money has gone in the build quality.Try-all's are great and i'd never have gotten rid of mine if I couldn't get a practicaly new eno for £32. Alex Dark
The try-alls are known to explode..that doesnt mean it will though!Tensile are the best budget option, with enos being pretty much the best of the best if you can afford it

Ezg_Cannuck
Is there a really noticeable difference between 72 and 108 engagement points?
Alex@Flawless Bikes
My mate had one and it seamed to be good! You can't really feel the difference between 72 and 108, well i can't! I would just get a tensile or eno
AdamR28
Is there a really noticeable difference between 72 and 108 engagement points? For me there is actually - only really noticeable when you go from 108 back to 72 though, not quite as much if you go the other way... but still noticeable. steve@banbury-trials
when i first used a high engagement drivetrain it felt almost as if i had two fixed sprockets lol ,tryall freehweels are awesome in my opinion, just make sure their kept in a good condition(i.e dismantle them every half year or so ) amd they're be good.steve
