David
Ok, I really want to play COD 4 online but It seems by uni's internet is blocking the appropriate ports (Can only see port 80, 443, and 110 open as far as I can tell). I have used several applications to tunnel my connection through port 80 but nothing is working. Has anyone found a good way round it?? Ive tried putty and all sorts of tunelling methods but all have failed so far Dave
Haz
I've got the same setup, if anyone has a clue, that'd be sweet...
Shaun H
At least your 'net is reliable enough for online gaming

tomturd
I used to use httptunnel to get around the uni firewall. Used to cost about $10 a month I think - I tried loads of free ones but basically bandwidth costs money, so I doubt you'll find a reliable free way of doing it. I used it for downloading from newsgroups, until the uni found out and blocked that too.
011001000110010101110010
My uni ping is way too high to play online....
Haz
I can use torrents fine, full speed no problem, but no Steam if I want to play (can DL and update), no CoD4, or C&C3...
