Frame Geometry Sucks!

I just bought a diamondback tekiya of ebay and i hate the frames geometry. seems really long and ridiculously hard to manaul. I used to ride an azonic ds1 back in the day which was sweet to ride! and was wondering if there was anything like that out there, but not as oldskool, i like the idea of not having a saddle. any suggestions would be great.

Cheers

Unfortunalty thats just the nature of "new" style Bikes.

The Long low frames are good for trials use, but arent so good for street style moves like manuals.

It can be done but is alot harder.

With a frame like that you should find hopping gapping ect alot easier, but if you want to stick with manuals and flowing moves than the best bet would be a move to 24"

Its not like the old days when a "trials" bike could be used for everything, now each style of bike is pidgeon holed into its catagory, as it simply isnt set up for other styles of riding.

May i suggest that you purchase a Universal Hammerhead? I rode one of these for many a year and found it particularly good for big street moves such as bronco hops and cherry hops. Think its worth a shot?

its not eve been a day and this thread is full of pricks.

How many of you know what a Universal hammerhead is (without google)

There are plenty of bikes out there that meet your needs, IE Onza Woodstock.

Just look about. Tartybikes is allways good to see what bikes are out, and thy allways have the geo up

Koxx vinco

lmao cant believe you put that.

Go for a base off tarty, there cheap and are really amazing frames. They do bmx trials street do great and also do trials moves good aswell. The lads at tarty espesially ali c will tell you that they are a very underrated frame at a great price. Otherwise a woodstock should be nice ermm orange zeros if you can find onein good condition, plant x's, lessons/curtis (there expensive though).

Also makes sure you have a nice bar stem combo as that can change a frames ride dramatically.
