Matthew_Gibson
Just put my new echo cranks on my bike, haven't sorted the chain tension out, but it look as it its going to rub on the frame. I'm currently running 18:18 which I'm going to change. But I'm not sure if its going to work. Has anyone else had the problem? The rear cog will be 15 tooth and this will make the ration 1:2 with is same as 22/18.I'll get pics up later!!
Ben John-Hynes
If worst comes to worst, would using a 16t on the back solve the problem?

eskimo
i dont really understand whats supposed to be rubbing...i think he rides an a1Well don't post in the thread then, it just seems like your spamming the crap out of the forum with your replies.I'm pretty sure it his chain on the chainstays like mentioned. So what hub isit? That will make the most difference. If your on a Pro2 or non single speed hub then you could play about with the chainline. But that will mean using another bottom bracket or having a poor chain alignment. A 16/16 gear would work as well shouldn't it? Unless you've already screwed that sprocket on... Matthew_Gibson
many that mite make things easier. The chain is almost rubbing on the chain stay near the bottom bracket. I'm just a bit worried that if and when i come to a smaller cog on the rear it will catch on the stays.
