extension ermmmm

in properties where other files say...

type:word document

or

type:photoshop doc

it says

type:file

!! what does that mean !

im gonna try get it back into premiere now.

cheers guys !

iolo

it says 'no importer found that supports this file type'

when you try import it to put it on the time line or file list in premiere.

hmm

could it be the difference between macs and PCs

edited and exported on a mac, now im on a PC

thanks again

easiest way - if you arent worried about filesize ...

File -> Export... -> movie ... -> then make sure the settings are microsoft DV AVI ....

then whack into your divX converter ....

the problem could be just that the extension isnt right on the current file .... you could try and rename the file - making sure the ending is .avi ?

EDIT : btw - I cant wait to see .......

Prism

download this and fiddle around with the settings.not sure if it will work on a mac though but its a good converter and from what i can tell it doesnt rape the quality.

Does take a fiddle around though to get it to wirk but once it works then its good!
