New Meta Vtt!

Hey everyone, just picked this up yesterday at the Toronto International Bike Expo. Brand new, all Canadian, Meta VTT 26'' trials bike!

Here's some Geo:

Wheelbase: 1095mm

Chainstay Length: 385mm

BB Rise: 40mm

Head Angle: 71.5 degrees

Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 675mm (26.5")

Didn't think I'd like a high BB compared to the 0mm drop/rise BB on my previous bike, but it's great. I demoed the VTT and it felt awesome. It'll be a while before I can really ride it seeing as we just got 40cm of snow! Stupid mother nature...Anyways, here she is!

Once I get it out, I'll let you know how it really rides,

Cheers

nice bike mate. how comes the brakes are round the wrong way

Haha, that's the right way to have 'em in Canada

Do you know he didn't get validated from this post?

Anyway,

VERY nice bike mate,

Get a video out on it when the snow's gone!

(Y)

Ben

Yeah, I'll get one out once everything's thawed and a do a little "re-learning". The geometry's quite different from the Evolve so it'll take some getting used to

Looks sweet dude!!

hows it ride?!

Unfortunately, I've only had the pleasure of a quick demo ride ('cause of the snow I mentioned in my 1st post). It was sick right from the get-go though. Pops right up onto the back wheel, back wheel control is so easy and natural, all the components comliment each other...just great. I can't wait to really have a go with it though...I'll keep you guys posted on rides

that looks like it will ride really good.

will you have a video out on it ?

In time yeah...too much snow here to ride in anything but a parking lot. Gotta nail all the basics too with the new geo. I'll let you guys know

EDIT: I had it out in a parking lot today actually, just doing some back hops, manuals etc etc. Rear wheel moves are just a breeze. In 1 hour of riding this bike, I'm already better than all the time spent on my other bike. Just so nice on the rear...
