BenLeacock™
depends how much you spend, more you spend less chance of it braking !
Ladd
depends how much you spend, more you spend less chance of it braking !Na, Think off it like this Echo brake £135 Magura £65 the magura is the one wich will always be working and alot cheaper than echo brake, Rear hubs King is expensive but i have found they break alot more that a good old pro 2 And pro 2 is alot more cheaper
DGrabiec
depends how much you spend, more you spend less chance of it braking !until you spend too much and the parts start to become very light and not as strong....

Tom Booth
Just buy the most simple thing you can find, it will never break.I have'nt had one thing go wrong with my bike for about a year. probably more.....

Simpson
Why are people actually trying to give answers? How long is a peice of string? Can you foresee any manafacturing defults, you doing something wrong, you getting your hose caught on something, your freewheel just deciding to blow up? NO! Its trials its f**king expensive, so when do our bike break? all the f**king time. And if your ever expecting it to stop even when youv'e totally pimped out your T-pro forget about it, things do break and its impossible to give a product a lifetime estimate, as it depends on a million variables, ride style, accidents, slips, work shop errors, riding over a pot hole.... all things that ive done that have messed up my bike
Lawnmowerman
Na, Think off it like this Echo brake £135 Magura £65 the magura is the one wich will always be working and alot cheaper than echo brake, Rear hubs King is expensive but i have found they break alot more that a good old pro 2 And pro 2 is alot more cheaper How did you come to that conclusion? I've had about 6 kings now on all kinds of bikes and none of them have ever given me any trouble. I've heard of literally dozens of proII' exploding. Sonny Clarke
yesterday my brake suddenly stopped working, oil leaked from the pipe that is leading to the leaver I tried tightening it with a spanner, various sizer and this didn't worki think there is still brake fluid in it because i can still press the leaver the pads just don't lock on AT ALLSeeing as this is my first magura, i have no idea of what does what, or the names of the parts (learnt what TPA is ) or equipmentAny idea's guys? Skoze
Why are people actually trying to give answers? How long is a peice of string? The length from the middle to one end, doubled.I agre with whoever said about "the more you spend, the less it breaks" Freewheels for example:Acs - A month if you're luckyEno - good year or twoJust keep things well serviced and look after your gear
Dan6061
My bodged-up Vee brake adapters play up a bit. They bend outwards (need a booster...) and the bolt holding the Vee mount comes loose from time to time..Apart from that, and my brakes needing new pads, my bike works fine. Well..chain snapped a lot a while ago, but I replaced it with a new-un.

Simpson
The length from the middle to one end, doubled.Hows that even an anwer, its like saying is L is the length of string then its length = .5(2L)So doesnt really come close to solving the equation.... and benjaminge, what a wasted post... its a shite answer
austen
everytime i buy a new part, or fix somthing on my bike, another thing breaks
craigjames
never really *touch wood*ive never snapped or bent anything on my bike, sometimes i really wonder what other people are doing wrong!check your bike regulary, and replace bits that need replacing regulary- chains every 3-4 months, bars and stems every year or 2.but to be honest i generally buy new stuff more frequently than that. maybe its because i buy new bits things dont break?! Skoze
Hows that even an anwer, its like saying is L is the length of string then its length = .5(2L)So doesnt really come close to solving the equation.... and benjaminge, what a wasted post... its a shite answershite answer yes, but the length from the middle to one end is half the total length of the string. Double that answer and you get the full length of said string It is still a shite answer but an answer none the less I'll bring a piece of string and a ruler to the next ride and demonstrate

ogre
heh you gotta think variables rider weight, riding style, ability to install stuff, general care taken. i usually replace parts before they get a chance to cause me pain some people are just un/lucky
rickycoleman
Mine is really weird, can ride forever without it breaking, then i go on a groupe ride and something will go.
