dan_addison Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 You should dip coat it a nice bright whiteSand it down with smooth sandpaper so its real smooth, then try and find a shop that sells the actual dip coat powder heat the frame up and dip it in the powder. Sorry to be a little vauge about the actual coating you'll need a brazing hearth to heat it up and a large container big enough to totally submerge your frame. Dan6061 Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 Sand all the paint off, go to Halfords, and buy some Autosol.Get a cloth, and buzz over the frame with the polish.My mate has a big polisher machine in his garage, so I spent a night on that getting all the scratches out, then the next night with the Autosol.Was so shiney.
