Sir_Hops_Alot
When riding i get a strange pain in my little finger on my left hand, it only comes when i do drops and gaps and stuff. When i'm pulling on the bars hard. It's the bit closest to me knuckle on my hand that hurts on the under side. Any idea's why this is guys? NVWOCI WVS
could be pressure on a nerve in the palm of your hand that triggers it?
Sir_Hops_Alot
Yeah it only hurts when i ride, its between the joint from my hand and the first joint in my finger on the underside.

Ben John-Hynes
I think it's due to the fact that, when you hold on to a pole or bar(handlebar) your little finger is the one gripping tightestas it's smaller than the othersand because it's smaller it doesn't curve as muchand it may also be due to the fact that our fingers start at different levelsso the hand isn't gripping evenly on the bar!just done some facsinating research by gripping and holding a pen!Ben
grantham
I've also got the same problem but mine hurts me all the time at the moment had it for 3-4 months so far, just cant shake it off, new grips seemed to help it for a bit, will have to have a play
Tomm
It's tendinitis. I had it in my ring finger for ages. It takes ages to go away but it doesn't get worse so I just carried on riding (and climbing) and it was fine. If it hurts, either stop or just dose up on ibuprofen.
