Riding On Graves.

To be honest. I would never ride a Graveyard, Church, or anything to do with dead people. I find it hugely disrespectful when people do. Weather or not those graves had people in them or not, graves are graves.

Also, when people such as above come out saying, *edited so I don't have to swear* "I'll ride where I want to ride, I don't care who I annoy, or what I do, if I like it, I'll ride it", is just arrogant, stupid and just c**t'ish.

Honestly ive rode on graves myself, in blackburn theres a disused church and there are some mint lines on old grave stones. I do think to myself yeah it is disrespectful but the church isnt used and the graves are really old, I dont think i could ever ride in a grave yard where people go and grieve and leave flowers ect as that is just wrong. But under the circumstances we ride the one in balckburn.

I have rode on these graves, not as much as this nob, and yes they are very very old and forgotton but I still have a small amount of guilt about it. The church is still in use as I have seen people goin in and out and they don't seem too bothered, i am sure some people would be pissed about it but I personnally dont give a shit if others are doing it.

I am saying this not in an 'aragont f**king nobend' way like the origonal offender did but i am not bothered how people see me, if they want to look at me like a disrespectful wanker then fair do's but its not something i would do every ride and i would certainly not ride on a modern grave.

To those of you who seem bothered enough about this particular subject, perhaps you should get "Trials Allowed" etched into your gravestone, and leave everyone elses alone.

This argument has become far to over analysed and bit over important for some of you!

In the words of Marcus Brigstocke

"Sit down, make a cup of tea, put on a Cat Stevens album on, and CHILL OUT!"

Surely with such literary prowess your efforts would be better focused elsewhere?!

Personally I think it's wrong. Although in the same vain as Tomm, I have done it in the past. Perhaps with age I have become more considerate.

Very good comments, i really cannot belive how far this topic has come , i said in MY own thread i was sorry and that the graves were empty and are unmarked and as for the one i gapped, they are dated in the 1800s and are long gone, i do have a certain amount of guilt about this but i think some people on this forum go along with everyone else by saying ooooh its so bad just for the sake of it!!

Again i will say im sorry for what i have done and i do respect the fact they are graves but they are from centuries ago and even the vicar of the church says aslong as we dont damage them were ok!

I shouldnt have said what i said about not giving a f**k, this thread annoyed me thats my reason, if i have permission to ride on them then i will ride.

This thread is completely over exaggerated, people are bumming others that say its not right, i see what they mean but it doent mean that 3/4 of the forum milk it and over exaggerated as much as possible!

Sorry for all that has been caused

Most of those long posts were poorly written, poorly structured and could have been summarised in a few short points. "Waffle" is the keyword I'm afraid. If it isn't read, you may as well not have written it. So the hugely complex lengthy posts fell on deaf ears as most people looked at them and scrolled straight down.

I don't hate whomever it was that rode in that video - In fact, I would say he probably hadn't even thought it through and made a decision to ride on a grave. He instinctively saw a good line and went for it. In hind sight, he probably knows what he did was erring on the side of wrongness, but he isn't man enough to admit his mistake. Instead his response of not caring (etc.) did very little for his reputation.
