Hate is a pretty strong word, and I choose my words carefully

But I do actually hate people like you. Obviously you don't care though because your so hard and you'd be more interested in stealing my shoelaces than listening to what I have to say.

If graves, gravestones were so insignificant we wouldn't bother with them, everyone would just get disposed of in the cheapest way possible. Fortunately, because people have feelings, there are places an objects that are left behind for relatives/friends of the dead people that we can use for remembering them an a place to grieve for them. If you have no concept of other peoples feelings then you need a reality check, by the looks of it though, you need your parents to pass away and a little pykey bmxer to be peg grinding on their graves to actually realise what the majority of us are getting at.

If I caught you on my Grandad's grave, mate you'd be dropped.

it takes the piss.

Out of all the places you can ride you chose a grave, twat.

You have to think before you ride places if it'll offend anyone, some benches for instance, if it's a memorial i try and be careful.

You have made your self look like an absolute dick with all the i don't give a f**k attitude.

I wish I could be like you.

Bless

i wouldnt ride on other people graves but i wouldnt exactly be bothered if some one rode on mine.

Hard to be that bothered when your dead and lying 6 feet deep

I wouldn't really do it though Half cos i couldn't be arsed with randomers going past and getting all high and mighty on me for it, half cos it's not really your decision whether riding on a particular grave is out of order or not, it's the decision of the family who have paid for that grave etc and have there dad or whatever lying under it. If they're already nuff cut up about it then seeing some youth on a funny bike stomping lal over it is hardly gonna help matters.

Graffiti on gravestones round here = baaaadddd.

Rowly - you can deconstruct society all you want. To you, that grave might be an irrelevant construct of a stupid society. But plenty of other people obviously see some value in having gravestones (be it spiritual or whatever). The potential to offend is huge, because (I think it's fair to say) most people don't see the world with the same eyes you do.

Would you ride on a grave of someone you didn't know?

For the record, I wouldn't care if people rode on my grave, either. For one thing, I don't believe in the afterlife or anything like that (so why would I care), and for another thing I'd be glad some people were enjoying my marker. Whether my family would like it or not is a different matter though, and I think anyone riding on it would have to respect that.

Riding on graves - not cool. How would you like it if a close member of your family (parent, sibling etc) died and you saw someone riding their grave? i would go ape shit for one. And another note, do you even know how much graves cost? In excess of a grand for a basic one a lot of the time, like you want that wrecked as well. Some people need to learn how to respect stuff.

That’s well out of order! I wouldn’t even ride on one of those memorial benches let alone an actual grave! I hope the spirits come after him  .

In a sense, you're always walking over somebodies grave.

It's just some of them happen to be endowed with an object and have occurred more recently. Perhaps we should move to space to avoid disrespecting the dead that are underneath us.

All of you who are concerned about that chap in the video, do you consider that perhaps you have a choice, not to find respect/disrespect with somebody riding over a grave? In fact, could you elaborate for me what you mean by respect and disrespect, especially within this context?

LOL your so f**king pedantic.

That's the point I was getting at before - it's irrelevant whether you give a shit, unless you specifically stipulated to your family "Let the games commence" regarding your headstone. Your headstone is a mark of rememberance from your family, and as such, it's loaded with emotion from them (and also a pretty significant financial commitment), and it's their wishes that count.

There is quite a nice line in my area involving a grave. And thats the only reason i dont do it! Totally disrespectful and out of order!

But it did p*ss me off when some old woman started shouting at me and one of my mates for being "disprespectful" when we were atleast 15ft away from the nearest grave stone! But we didnt argue back incase one of the stones was a relitive or friend of hers!

Anyway, grave riding = wrong!

Exactly, if someone complains about you riding somewhere near a grave/somewhere similiar, then just move on. The worst thing you can do is argue back. Just makes you look petty and stupid.

Like I said before, the Church in Oxford is a pretty good spot, and I've never seen anyone complain or say anything bad about us riding there. S'only the walls and benches afterall...

No disrespect to the guy riding (not that he had much respect) but the lines were not even impressive.

If it were the most amazing line ever, something seriously impressive and original, then perhaps those of us with less regard for others may consider such a line.

but for a few wank 4 ft gaps, its just wrong.

LOL......prawny when u riding next ???????
