dirt jumper jake
Evening, just as i was about to go out riding today i noticed when i pull my rear brake lever it clicks, so im thinking the TPA is knackerd, the last time i rode was thursday night and it was fine then, is it worth buying the tpa kit off tarty to replace it? or is it my complete lever?can anyone help? jake

El Cristoff
yeah, the 04 maggies are renown for just randomly breaking, TPA's just seem to die on them The bolt method is actually better than using a normal TPA, as it allows you to ajust it loads

Z o o !!
What i did when this happened to me i got a bigger sized bolt that is one size than the one that comes standard with the tpas and filled of the sides of the bolt so it would fit in the blade and screw it in so it makes new threads almost, it kind of works like a tap kit and then just adjust like normal.Or you could ask t33zr on here im pretty sure hes running a homemade one. Alex Dark
i used ( on my 04 ) a whacking great bmx stem bolt, then screwed that directly into the top of my lever with no tpa bits at all...
