Luke Rainbird Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 People get sponsored for a number of different reasons, and potential 'sponsors' chose people for a multitude of these.Some companies would rather support a rider who shows a good attitude, is friendly and helpful, but may not be such a 'good' rider as others who don't share some of these qualities.Some people will support younger, newer riders to show that side of their company, whereas other brands may prefer to back the big names. Money can also be an issue.At the end of the day, Matt is lucky enough to be supported by a company, and congratulations to him for that, and hopefully he can help promote Trialfutur while he is with themFrom when I've met/spoken to Matt, he's a nice young lad who's friendly and gets on with everyone, always has a smile on his face, and isn't a bad rider.
