Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 If you wanted to be really poncey about weight you could drill everything drillable (Brake levers, frame, rims) shave the tyres down, ride gripless, go on a diet and dip the whole bike in caustic soda to strip the paint off.Now THATS poncey. Muel Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 Once you get a bike down to below 9/8.5kg, there's no real point IMO.My bike rides super nice as it is, although some weight loss from the rear would be cool.I wish I had bought a rear DOB rim instead of the Monty one.
