sloan
Hey, im just signed up on here so i could ask you lot if any of you know what style/brand of bike i havehad it for bout 4-5 years, pretty sure its some kind of trials frame. just put some new rims, fork and crank on it.Has 'powerlite' stickers on frame, also 'x-lite uk' stickers. As far as i know powerlite is an american/canadian bmx brand. And x-lite is a uk racing brand. so im abit stumped. Ive taken this bike to every bike shop in norwich and no one has seen one, or knows what it is or what is worth!?!heres some pics....As you can see is have a removable orange frame clamp so you can have a seat on it. Again, no one seen one before? Is it just an old trials frame that is no longer in production or something???? Cheers anywayhope i posted this in the right place

samster
sorry to dissapoint you mate, but its not a trials bike from what i can see. im sure its a mountain bike because its got suspension on, which you dont normally have on a trials and its got mbk tyres on. Its got 3 chainrings on the front and 6-7 gears on the back and lastly trials bikes certainly dont have detatchable seat post fittings and dont have massive humps in there frames (apart from the monty kamel).im not an expert and its probably a load of rubbish, but i hope i helped you

It's just a normal MTB I think.
