Dan6061
Anti-clockwise.So if the kinda curve pointing one way, it'll spin the other way. If that makes sense?
Ash-Kennard
anti, but it doesnt really matter
Dan6061
anti, but it doesnt really matterNah it kinda does. The force of the brake stopping the rotor is fairly strong, so the curves facing the other way are stronger than if they were facing the force? Hope you understand that... I can't explain anything well today.

Muel
Make it so that when you jam the brake on, the hub twists in such a way that the spokes try to expand the outer braking surface area thing.
Krisboats
Isn't there usually a little arrow showing the direction to face it in whilst fitting it?
ZeroMatt
Isn't there usually a little arrow showing the direction to face it in whilst fitting it?That or there is a brand name on one side and you keep that side up.

psycholist
That's how I'd have described the correct way to fit a disk too... Most disks are set up with non radial spokes linking the rim/braking surface of the disk to the area that bolts to the hub. Since the spokes dont extend radially from the hub of the disk, a braking force applied to the rim of the disk will either have the effect of pulling the braking surface towards the hub or away from it. It doesn't really matter for most setups in trials though. Especially for back disks where the brake will get loaded hard in both directions anyway - not the front brakes have it particularly easy on trials bike either ...
