JonMack
Encode using H.264 if you can. Small file sizes and decent quality. A guy posts episodes of tv shows on a forum I go on that are 99mb compared to the usual 350mb versions, and the quality loss is minimal as he uses 264. MadManMike
I give up.How hard should it be?I just want to convert a large file into a slightly lower quality, smaller file.Damn computers!!I got loads of different programs and they either crash or make the file bigger?! I converted it to AVI with one program and it made it 2.2gb and unwatchable.I'm gonna record another with the low quality setting on the camera instead. Argh! James
You could run it through Windows movie maker mate, that's a kind of very basic way to retain some quality and compress it quite a bit.
