JonMack
Yo.I've got a project lined up in the next month or two where I'm going to need to create an online shop for the local skateshop down here. Does anyone (Tom, Danny, Simon, Nick, etc.) know of any decent OS shop software? I've had a look at osCommerce but that's the only one I know really. If you could give me some more info that would be much appreciated.Cheers,Jon
tomturd
I did some investigation in the past (searching for lines out of skin files to see if they matched anyone elses code) - tartybikes seemed to be using cubecart (although they say it was written in notepad - reckon the developer might be telling some porkies)Only v3 is free by the looks of it. 1106
I would suggest a cart called jshop. Although its not free you need to buy a copy but its all written in php highly editable and all open source also the code is not encrypted in anyway. The type of cart you want would would depend on your hosting jshop its written in php/MySQL so linux hosting I believe oscommerce is asp from memory so youd be looking at windows. But jshop is by far the easiest cart I am aware of that you can easily edit to any design you could possibly think of. Hope this helps,Leanne

nc7r
What about Magento? Heard a lot of good things about that from some guys at work. Haven't used it myself but the Demo Store looks swish..
