monkeyseemonkeydo
Tell me that's not a 1/8" chain on there...? Could save another ~50g running a 3/32" surely?
AdamR28
Its about 20g... I didn't weight it, honest But I couldn't get a 3/32 on the rear sprocket... which saves about 20g over a steel one. So I decided to go for red pimpness instead
Tomy P
I love the look of it... How much would a bike like that set mere mortals back? Edited February 22, 2008 by tompeibiketrial
AdamR28
I love the look of it... How much would a big like that set mere mortals back?I just totted it up and it comes to about £1550 I think, not too bad.Oh and the pedals are Wellgo MG-1s Dave I need some Ti axles
basher
Is there alot of flex in the frame adam?. Im suprised you went for it, ino you like to have a light bike but the frames are known for being flexy so thought you would have stuck to the deng machine. So is it bad? spode@thinkbikes
Why not just have a reeeeeally big poo before going riding?
AdamR28
the frames are known for being flexyReally? To be honest I've not had enough time on it yet, but initially it doesn't feel overly flexy at all.
basher
Why not just have a reeeeeally big poo before going riding?because that wouldnt make the bike lighter lol you would still have to haul a heavier bike around
AdamR28
Why not just have a reeeeeally big poo before going riding?Because pooing doesn't take any weight off your bike
craigjames
where do you get ti axles for mg-1's??!?!?!

Al_Fel
if you want it lighter just weigh it when the tide is in.
Muel
Yummy.Haha muel.haha muels gonna cryMuel has been trying for like 3 months to get his bike lighter than yours, now he has no chance I haven't! You told me too and I said I couldn't afford it. My forks are still lighter though. Hope it's good for you Ads, I'm still trying to get used to my 9.0kg fatty, it's so light it feels wierd for big taps and gaps, it floats so easily.Does this mean that you can fly on yours? I'm not sure about the wheelbase though, my bros T-Lite is 990, feels a bit constrained for me. I'll have to get that old beast out for a while today, he normally keeps it at our Mum's. LiamWood!
What are the roters? Also would it be too short if i got one, being im 6ft?Sorry to be a thread nicker! Liam
AdamR28
Oops, the rotors are Gusset R-Series: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10266At 6ft, I don't see why you couldn't ride one - a nice high/long stem and some riser bars and it'd be pretty roomy
spode@thinkbikes
Because pooing doesn't take any weight off your bike So THAT's what I'm doing wrong!
