james266
Was thinking of getting new rear hub and the pro2 trials looks good. 48 engagments, not too heavy. Its used on DH bikes so it pretty strong. What do people think about it? Anyone got one have any good / bad things about it?

Adam-Griffin
Never used a rear one myself but i'm running one on the front at the moment, can't really compare a front hub to a rear though so i won't.Pro II rear hubs seem to be used by alot of stock riders so they can't be too bad. Tom Booth
A lad I work with has a standard pro 2 on his freeride bike. Seems to love it, I rode some trials on it in the warehosue once and it didnt skip etc. Felt really nice.Alot of them out being used, must be a good thing! I would have said it was the most widely used hub by stock riders.

The good thing about hope is that they are UK based so there is a lot of second hand kit for sale.

Rebelistic
I've had an 07 pro2 for over a year - no skips, no problems.
streetjibs
no rear disc... just veesbroke normally on wheelswitches or sidehops, the whole shell just split. was nothing new for about the first yr they were out, everyone seemed to be breaking em. and i know im not the only person to crack one of the newer design shells. do a search for broken or cracked hopes and you will get the whole story on these hubs.
