Alex Dark Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 the old dual slalom merlin was quite good....my cousin had a merlin malt2 ( xc bike ) and that was a lovely bike to ride.....i saw that vid where poprter smashed that 721 in.... CurtisRider Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 i use plain gauge spokes and they're fine!you aren't james porter.... think of the abuse he can give stuffi used to snap spokes regularly when running plain gauges on my 26, got db spokes and never had any troubles although oddly plain gauges on my 24 and bmx were fine...
