Barbara Logan-Price
if it a clutch lever surely it wouldn't work
sidehop
Does it not just have the piston inside? And it has the barbed fitting so it could be done... Right?
*Tom*
I doubt it would work, if its from a clutch the hose fittings will be bigger, also it might be made to use dot fluid instead of minral oil.EDIT: Oops just saw the adjuster on the lever Edited February 18, 2008 by *Tom*
Mike Winton.
Would be able to make that work
Rob Brodie
either way i do like that very very much i would happily pay alot for that,i still think Magura should make a cnc brake ..rob..
Si-man
Will be far to big. Would have to have the clamp somewhere near the stem to get decent pull on it from the end of the blade lol.
ZHI_Chris
It looks sweet. But maybe it's not good for trials. The lever blade seems too long. But I love the design. Edited February 19, 2008 by zhi

t33zr
i swear this is a repost and its suposed to be used on motorbikes or something like that.you win i found some pics of the brake a while ago... and yes... its for a motorbike http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=111670
Alex Dark
yep its a repost...and no it wouldnt work on a trials bike as a brake lever...and the blades about 9cm long anyway!
PaRtZ
and no it wouldnt work on a trials bike as a brake leverwhy?Theres enough machinst's out there, it would be that difficult for someone to make an adapter from a standard magura hose to a bigger, motorbike hose to fit on that?I guess the real question is why. Its probably heavier, gives an excessive amount of pull on it and damn expensive....
max-t
That would snap lever bodies. Definately.
Ben John-Hynes
either way i do like that very very much i would happily pay alot for that,i still think Magura should make a cnc brake ..rob..Maggies are already good brakes, why would magura change them, especially after seeing what the deng cnc brakes are like! mafu26
if its designed as a clutch lever on a motorbike then its designed to be pulled all the way into the bar whereas a trials bike brake only moves a small amount compared to this.if you look at the distance between the piston pivot and the main pivot its smaller than a normal magura brake and the lever blade itself is longer that what we're used to so you'd have to move the lever further to move the piston the same amount, however you'd get loads more power this way. if it was set-up properly it would probably work but the window for getting it right would be very small. i think...
