Being a bit of an old fart, and with only two other riders in my hometown, I´m simply trying to gather as much information and experience as possible in order to buy a good first bike. I´ve come across the 24seven holroyd frame on the old ebay; sweet looks! Anyone with actual experience of riding this frame? What´s with the narrow spacing at the back? It can get abit confusing when people market hubs as being 116 spaced. Pazmo Posted February 19, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 My mates tell me that due to lack of precicion being a beginner, I should forget about having a rear mech and opt for a single speed setup, since mechs will undoubtedly get caught on stuff.
