Al_Fel
To be brutally honest, if it lasts 6 months, then I'm not to fussed if it breaks, 35 quid for a good working part that lasts 6 months of abuse is a quite good price/wear rate in my books.Lolz. Whatever mate, I'll PM you my adress now. See who's the E hardboi then.Ah well as long as your happy. any chance you could get a pic of the welding? I'd just like to see how it will look welded. Muel
Came loose already Damn it. Argh well, tack it with weld tomorow.Make sure you lamp it up first, I mean like, crank in the vice, and bash it round with a center punch and a massive hammer. Then just 1 spot of weld so that you can grind it off with a dremmel or summat really easily. Shouldnt be comming undone any time soon.

mcinnes
I had a tensile on my old bike ( now have an ENO ) and i found very good, until the lockring loostned and the freewheel fell apart, after that it constantly skipped and was just rubbish. but you are welding it so it should work BEAST!. Mark W
To be fair, all the time I ran a Tensile freewheel (both proto and production), all I did to clean it was just blast it through repeatedly with GT-85, same as you'd do for a Dicta/ACS. Seemed to work fine for me, in that mine very, very rarely skipped. So yeah, I wouldn't worry about needing to get back inside there. The only freewheel you'll need to keep open is one with a sealed bearing in it, such as the Eno. They continuously emit a little grease, so you need to be able to gain access to it and show it how you feel with a can of Ye Olde GT-85 from time to time.
