cam217
hey guy'sright then my question to every one on trials-forum is why are there people that absolutely hate natural trials? i ride both i ride street and natural but some of my friends and some other people say that they hate natural trials and much prefer street riding now dont get me wrong i enjoy riding street but i find natural trials much more rewarding as you have to put some much more effort in to it and also making your own lines. i looked at it this way in street all you do is sidehop, got to front wheel, gaps, drops, drop gaps etc and its all the same, now all of that can be involved in natural trials and i believe that it involves much more skill, fitness and its a bit different from flat surfaces and also belive it looks better on video'spost your comments of what you think, thanks cameron
Token
Most people hate Natural because it's harder an you can't see yourself progressing as easily. An alot of people prefer just measuring a wall, sidehopping up it an then sitting down for a few minutes revelling in their ability.
Muel
I do both, but natty is more challenging. It is harder, but it hurts less when you bail. Unless your riding at the top of a cliff.
mcinnes
I prefer street because i find it more fun but like natty if there is alot of BIG rocks.

JoNnY__Mc
Street bashing and marmite...I can't ride natural at all All the different angles and surfaces really annoy me when im riding rocks. I find it way more challenging and tiring to ride small rocks than sidehop up or tap 50". I know that the only way to progress is to keep riding it, I shall get round to riding somemore one day! Headley
personally i prefere street but also like the odd bit of natural now and again, it's mainly personal preferences. I agree with you that natural is harder and needs more stamina, balance and overall skill. Basically it's down to what your prefere.
Oli Smith
I like a bit of both really but Natural is harder because like all the rocks are un-even and shizzle, but street is kind of made for you all the lines are smooth, like side-hopping a wall in street is nothing like sidehopping a wall in natty. And yeah! people hate natty because its too challenging really :| like when you first ride natty you get so p****d off with the stupid little rocks that knock you off balancance so people dont like natty because STREET looks so damm mint. Natty looks boring you've gotter admit but STREET, streets flaming amazing when you see Neil T or Damon jump of like buildings and these massive rail gaps you just wann do it, thats why I reckon people dont like natty:) oli
JoNnY__Mc
Jonny! I'm shocked! I thought I had transformed your mind on our half day of riding, but alas... I'll turn you into a natty twatter if it's the last thing I do. Haha, I did have a great ride that day, Natural riding is something I can only do when im with my good freinds having a laugh... I enjoy it more when im with people who are riding at the same level as me! Its just with street I find it more rewarding to nail a large gap/sidehop/tap, theres a feeling of releif when you land it, theres more time and space to put the power down when you want it... with natural I end up getting really tired because all im doing is correction hopping and getting nowhere! I don't know, I need loads of practice! I guess the fact that most times I have rode natural I have bin on street frames that are too long for me and are weighed down with deng components doesn't really help with riding rocks. I like a bit of both really but Natural is harder because like all the rocks are un-even and shizzle, but street is kind of made for you all the lines are smooth, like side-hopping a wall in street is nothing like sidehopping a wall in natty. Danny Kearns
Natural is for fags with piss light bikes who don't like heights. I will never change ever. Street is the best. Hopping across a few rocks or a 8ft gap to a rail, I know what would scare shit outta me more and thats what trials is about, been scared of the stuff your trying. Danny. Sorry Danny, But i have to laugh at that! Have you seen some of the lines that are in the worlds etc? f**king hell i would prefer an 8ft gap to a rail any day! I myself prefer Natural, but i do also like street, i think this is mainly because home (cornwall) doesn't realy have any decent street but has awsome natural everywhere! Natural is alot more challenging, but the problem i feel alot of people have is that it is harder to guage how you may be improving when riding natural, i mean on street, you have very clear cut boundaries etc, i mean a 45inch wall is a 45inch wall, one day u might not be able to get up it but the next day you can so there is a clear improvement, On natural it is alot more demanding, sections are long and never have good runups etc, so oneday you might go out and 5 that section, you will go back and have to keep trying it and gradualy you will improve until you get a clean..... There is alot of narrow minded riders around (Not aimed at you in particular Danny)....... Adam

Someone knows what there talking about Natural for me. Always has been. Streets good, but just a bit too boring for me. Natural makes you a lot better rider, and is just more interesting i think. matt rushton
Does it involve a 360 tailwhip to seat grab to 420 bar spin ? Thought so. Danny. That's street. Anyway Natural is better when your, actually up for riding. Street is better when you can't be arsed, and your mates just drag you out. TrAsHeR
Natty all the way. It requires so much more than street. Precision, balance, some thinking And there is also soo much more lines and differents ways to get where you want to.
AshleyB
Ali you tell him mate, its all good but its a mega feeling at lets say top level ie UCI WORLD when you come out clean in a section beats any drop gap for me, what you say comp guys !!
