Bleeding Hs33 With Diesel

christ revolver! read the thread! diesel will not perish the seals, the seals will last longer than with water (even though seals bled with water will last years) as the diesel will luibricate the seals better.

Ben

Maybe so

Has anyone tried it?

Either way, its still a shit idea: water is free. It's also really quick responding.

iolo has it in his magura, been in since June, been fine so far, even after we topped it up with some 2 stroke oil when he hit his caliper and loosened the 8mm nut

HAHA

there we go then.

Bleed your brake with deisel

Actually, it would seem you can bleed it with anything so long as it's not corrosive to the seals.

When I rebled my brake on friday, I discovered it was bled with oil AND water.

:S

Say if yoh mess around with your buddies and 1 of them decides to light your hosing for a laugh not knowing its diesel? You burn.

diesel will not light to a naked flame... it will only ignite at a very very high temp or high compression !

just use water stop being special lol
