Matt_Thibeau
It sorta depends on your skill level, if riding a stock feels comfortable for you, and you feel you could benifit from this decicion, do it.
Ben John-Hynes
Your height doesn't really come into it i don't think, ride a mate's 26" and see if you like!

dec
really mate it is what you feel the best on what you think you could progress on more all down to personal choice no one can tell you what to ride the only thing you can do is ride a good few stocks and see what you think dec
txt2007
I got a t-rex and after the first 2 months i realized how much easier a mod would be to ride but i've stuck it out got better and i just bought a few new bits and I'm happy with it now.Save up loads and buy a stock but keep riding your mod. squeaky
i think that it depends on what you fell the best on and i dont think that height comes into it have a go on a freinds stock and you will be able to find out which one you feel the best on

Ticker
It is totally up to you, if you are worried about height i'm 6 foot 2 an ride a long mod and feel comfortable.I think moving to stock is a good idea once you think you are at a good standard of riding. but a mod should not limit you progressing if that is what your worried about. Muel
I'm 5'10 and I ride a medium legnth Mod. 1020mm.Stocks feel really wierd to me, like they have cartwheels attached, but there are plenty of stock riders shorter than me. Alex Dark
Just get a stock...i cant ride mods at all..they feel like little kiddies bikes
jacecottrials
As alot of people have mentioned, its down to personal choice, i also think that it depends what sort of ridng you do, in my personal opinion, (dont argue with what i say please) 26" is easier to do taps where as 20" is easier for sidehops. you can also change to stock without it feeling completely different through high bb spec bikes. jace
