MadManMike
I see that the fatty R forks are popular on the giants, dont know why.what forks do you giant lovers ride???It's because around the time of those, Fatty R's were pretty much trial standard. They are still amazingly good forks! Skoze
cool, im thinking of some new forks with a longer steer tube, do u know any that would sit the front end up a little bit??If you get some wit a longer steerer, put some spacers under the stem to jack it up, or try a higher rise stem
MadManMike
cool, im thinking of some new forks with a longer steer tube, do u know any that would sit the front end up a little bit??Like skoze said really, don't cut the steerer tube down, use spacers, and if you need to get bars and stem with some rise on
sir koxxy
Like skoze said really, don't cut the steerer tube down, use spacers, and if you need to get bars and stem with some rise on yea. think ill probebly go with the cheaper option of a higher rised stem. ta lads

Law
I had no idea that there was an obsession with Giant for trials like there appears on here, maybe it's just me... they look cool but a bit too chunky for really getting the big stuff done. However it does bring back a lot of memories of chatting to Martin at trials meetings years ago. However, I suppose if you're a big strapping lad then that argument is balls.I'd get rid of the little plastic seat on it; for me they suit the really small performance bikes and the difference that is going to make on a older bike like that is going to be smaller than negligible surely... sir koxxy
It's the difference between having a pole up your arse or not though i totaly agree, at the end of the day i think i would rather bash my ass the get it stuck on the frame
Law
I think you missed my point, I mean put a more 'normal' seat on your bike instead of the plastic seat. Hence..."the difference that is going to make on a older bike like that is going to be smaller than negligible surely..."I only think some utter dipstick would not put a seat on it, even if it did look better than those. Anyway, as you were.
