hello..

i was thinking on buildin a 24inch trials out of my 26 which doesnt get used any more..

anyway i know i would need a new frame but i was wondering do you run a specific pair of 24 inch trials forks? or can you use a pair of 26es? obvously with a disc;)

and...

i have a dmr 24inch rim which i want laced up to a hope pro 2 which is built onto my 26inch wheel atm lol

when building a 24inch wheel do you need 24inch spokes or do you use 26?

many thanks:)

i know onza make 24" forks for there onza zoot bikes.

rim should be ok, or you can get 24" ronnie and reggie rims.

you could use 26: forks with a disk.

as for the spokes they will have to be for a 24", bike best bet is to get tarty to build it.

Gary.

If its a DMR DV24 rim and its a 32hole hub you'll need 16: 232mm spokes and 16:233mm spokes. Avaiable at www.billys.co.uk. That will be £8 for one wheels worth of spokes. If its not that rim, and it isn't 32hole those lengths will not apply.

You can use 26 forks depending on the frame, but most trialsy 24'' frames will accomodate a pair of 26'' forks.
