Matthew62
I'm wanting to run this combo front and back for a 24'' build i'm doing and i was wondering if anyone else runs this combo, where you got your spokes from and what spoke lengths you used?Ideally i want black spokes but at this point in time i'll take anything, i need apparently 239mm/241mm front and 240mm back.... i can find the 240's but not the other sizes? Can you get away with rounding down by 1mm with spokes? Also anyone else who has run this combo, have you had to buy your spokes in packs of 36 and had loads left over, as i'd like to buy the spokes individually, but halo spokes only do 238, then its a jump to 25...something.Also, can you get away with mix-matching spokes on the same wheel..for example 16 halo spokes and 16 DT to accomodate the different lengths needed for a front wheel?Any info would be great! Cheers.

A lot of places only sell spokes in 2mm increments (236, 238, 240...), and there's generally about 1mm or so you can be 'out' by without really sacrificing anythingAlso anyone else who has run this combo, have you had to buy your spokes in packs of 36 and had loads left over, as i'd like to buy the spokes individually, but halo spokes only do 238, then its a jump to 25...something.If you call up whichever place you found them, they will likely do you half and half - places like Tarty are great for it, and I'm sure CRC and other shops would do too. Normally they buy them in pack of 100+, so should be able to sort you out
