The Duck
Don't pin your hopes on the warrenty, they are normally shit. My old onza one reads (something like) "If there is reason to believe, on close inspection of the bike, that it has been used in damp conditions - the warrenty is void"

BenLeacockâ„¢
Have you rode it like that ? is it rideable or not at all ?
N Roach
Maybe you could use the term "Fit for Purpose"...
monkeyseemonkeydo
Have you rode it like that ? is it rideable or not at all ?Seeing as it appears the chainstay's snapped in two I'd guess it's not very rideable...Not convinced by that 'damp conditions' clause either! BenLeacockâ„¢
Seeing as it appears the chainstay's snapped in two I'd guess it's not very rideable...I was meaning cause a couple of people snapped the 07 ti's in the same place and rode them. RossMcd
well i noticed it at lunch today when i tryed to fix the wheel becuase it was rubbing off the frame but the snap was the cause of that lol.i rode it home and i was gapping around on it but the brake was a little flexy. Trials Punk
Hard to tell with the mess on it but it looks like it started at the weld. If you've only had the bike since crimbo I can't see why it wouldn't be under warrenty, its under 3 months old. The fact its from e-bay dosn't alter anything. As long as you have proof of purchase its fine. If you get no luck with the shop go direct to e-bay.
RossMcd
if i have no luck with the shop then i might probably just get on to ebay.sounds like a plan!

My old onza one reads (something like) "If there is reason to believe, on close inspection of the bike, that it has been used in damp conditions - the warrenty is void"The old warranties just said you weren't covered if you rode street, but the new Onza warranty is, in my opinion, one of the best out there. A no quibble half-price crash replacement scheme for up to 2 years is way, way above what any other manufacturer offers.
