AdamR28
Hello all,I'm after suggestions for a GOOD place for a big street ride. Preferences:- Northern (ish)/midlands area.- Somewhere you don't get battered by security every 5 minutes.- Easy to get to (train and car).- Good riding: by this I mean varied, from small stuff to massive crazy stuff, so it suits everyone. I think that's about it... suggestions appreciated!CheersAdam
Nick Manning
I know this isn't northern or midlands, but it goes with the rest of your criteria, and thats Bristol this coming sunday. But for somewhere like that up north, im not sure, but i'm up for attending where ever it turns out to be.Hopefully ride with you soon Adam

_Owen.
Whats the parking situation like up there? Not a huge fan of trains.Parking is very good around brum. There is two car parks visable from the "white walls", which as far as i know arent overly expensive and should be relitively easy to find! Luke Rainbird
From what I've seen, and people seem to be saying, Birmingham looks pretty good.Bristol is the ideal location almost, in riding terms anyway, but unfortunately it's a bit too far south for some. Can't comment on Leicester as I've not really seen much from there

Danny Kearns
There is a small group of us heading out to leics tomorrow for the day. Might be worth a look in if your still in the area. And, theres loads..You seriously need about 3 days to get round all of it.Agreed.We didn't did half the spots in a 13 hour day.Danny. Ben John-Hynes
I retrieve my previous Birmingham vote!it's not big enough, not enough riding spots for a larrrrrge ride,it's quite varied but i'm thinking somewhere else is West Mids! Rusevelt
Well london summer ride always produces the largest numbers of trialsters but that is not on your list of preference. ill be posting some southeast, northwest, west london pics hopefully this weekend. what this site really needs is a uk A-Z map with detailed info & pics on how to get to the site. this will make big group rides more desirable because riders can actually see what they expect to ride rather just word of mouth. Stan Shaw
Birmingham is decent-ish but when ever I've rode there we got kicked off nearly every spot and pretty quick too.Leicester sounds tempting. Be honest and I mean honest! Do you get kicked off at lots of places there?I am looking forward to this ride
