makrela
I want to buy a new frame, but i can't decide what to choose. I narrowed it down to two frames, one is the zoo pitbull 2007 short stock version, and the other is the magellan tucana magura edition (it is a hungarian frame). I want a frame which is good for Rowan-Johns-like trials, what he does in his dreams of glass video. Some info about the magellan tucana frame:wb=1065mmcs=385mmweight=1870gbb=+15mmha=72°and it has a proper seattubecheapAny help is appreciated! Endohopper
and it has a proper seattubecheapThose 2 criteria and your prefference for streety trials suggests a Base TA 26 , as shown in diagram A :
Matthew_Gibson
I wouldn't like to spend money on a frame that ones given a review on, As for the Zoo! dont like them, And apparently they ride pants. Havent ridden a Base, But there cheap and chips. Get one, If you dont like it. No lost much money. What about. Echo Control short? Ashton Justice (if you can get hold of one) Leeson? Curtis? there really expensive though.
The Duck
Tuscana looks ok. I'd go for that of the two. Bit short though.
makrela
Thanks for the help, i am buying a magellan, it is too cheap, approximately 80 pounds. Now I have a frame with 1030ish wheelbase, so i think the 1065mm will be enough. I am going to build it up with a nice deity riser bar, i can't wait to see it .Endohopper, what is the full weight of your bike?

makrela
Old-school stock . The geo of my current frame is 1030wb, 400cs, +0bb. It is an old yasec frame, i am the third owner of it, probably 3-4 years old.
matt rushton
That Geo looks Awsome. Would be better without the seat post IMO.

makrela
Is there clearance issues with wide rims (like the 47mm try-all rims)? What is the distance between the magura mounts?Nice bike!
Endohopper
Looks good , reminiscent of Echo's ES series .
