lewis.jackson Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 OK so as i have had so much farting around in trying to sell this frame im going to build it up and have it as a street 26" bike so i want you all to help me decide what parts to put on it.I don't want really expensive parts i just want nice good components and a old school sort of look.Here is the frame so that you have a idea of what it looks like. John Shrewsbury Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 (edited) Try and get a normal seat post fitted, clive added a round bit of tubing on top and i cuted down a seat post to fit when i had my one.Maguras front and rear, leeson forks think that wat uve got.mavic rims, maxxis hi roller rear, tioga xc front.Hope hubs, pro 2 rear and mono front.Thompson 90/15 stem, azonic bars.raceface or middleburn cranks.Shimano 105 rear mech.This is my kinder setup and feels great. Unless it's absolutely knackered leave it in.Who'da thunk? Yeah I got the wierd clips out and some proper icky thumpin with a hammer but I didnt want to take it too far. i'll try some heat.
