BeNNy
Righto...I'm thinking about adding more RAM to my computer... currently my spec is Pentium 4 + 2.80ghz + 256RAM. Thinking about adding 256mb again to make it 512mb.Do I have to buy the exact same RAM that's already in the comp?? Could someone tell me what make? etc etc stuff I will need..?? Basically I think it's this one but I can't find it on like.. Amazon or Play.com, however on Play.com i saw this one, are they the same??I've print screened my system spec below. Many thanksss

Tomm
It's really old that system, takes SDRAM which isn't really available any more. Best bet is probably to buy second hand from eBay since lots of people will have it and since it's fairly useless nowadays, it'll probably be cheap. Tomm
Well, no it's not. Nowadays that's really expensive for 1Gb ram, but because no one is buying SDRAM any more there's no market for it and it becomes more expensive. I'd probably pay £38 though - it should increase the performance loads - Windows XP just doesn't work on any less than 512 really.
