NileBrown™
Don't want to be an arse but use the search maybe? Theres been hundreds of people asking the exact same thing. In answer to your question, Hubs and headsets go on how much you want to spend, If your minted go for Chris King - last for yonks and have a great guarentee (on the headset anyway)Although For a newbie it doesnt actually mean your poor so cheaper parts could be canecreek headsets to onza hubs etc. But if you want pimp parts go for deng as their basically in the middle of the price range. squeaky
well it depends on how much money you want to spend if you have a fair bit to spend i would get a chris king but if you dont have a lot to spend i would use something like a hope headset and hub they are good and i have a hope hub on the front of mine and i think that it is brilliant. nicks
A good headset is a echo or zoo, and hubs depends if your running disk then i would go for hope, if not echo again and same for the rear.
Ben John-Hynes
Being as his name is "T-PROJAVS"I'm assuming he has a t-pro, MOD!So he can't have proII's!I would say that an amazing and cheap headset is "FSA Pig DH PRO"I use one and it's soooo smooth! As for hubs,Not really sure about mod ones,But Chris King are goodAlso, the Deng mod hubs seem to be pretty reliable(compared to stock ones)Ben

tobiasmaxximus
I run a try all 108.9 freewheel on a fixed dmr hub on a stock! well different and works really well. i was after lots of engagement and reasonably cheep. its like most trials parts you pay more for better quality parts. eney sealed headset will last for ages, again though pay more for better parts. if you are a mod rider then ive heard the profile hubs are like the hope pro 2s ,not cheep though. all depends on how much cash you want to spend or how good you want your parts to be. Control-Trials
On my T-Rex, Im currently running a locked out Hope XC and I have a ACS claws 18 tooth welded freewheel on the front. I know that is stock and your's is mod but i was just stating. On the mod side of things, I prefer to see a Freewheel set up to be honest. Freehub is fine on a stock but freewheel on a mod is awesome. From past experience. The White Industries ENO offerd the best performence if i'm correct ? Because all the internals are replaceable and they offerd 72 points of Engagement.Im currently looking into Upgrading to a rear freehub with a decent amount of Engagements on my T-rex. Heard mixed opinions about what I should get. A few friends have recommended a "Hope pro II Trials" and others a "Chris King Classic". Seeing as funds arn't amazing, I've decided to go for the Hope Pro II Trials. It still has 48 Engagement points and that's plenty in my opinion. As for Headsets. With me riding a T-Rex it's very limited as to what I can run in my frame with it been internal. I'm running a standard Onza internal headset, I suppose it does the job. However, If your usuing a frame which doesn't take a Internal headset you have a few options. If money is an' issue and your after something that's remotely aesthetically pleasing, long lasting and durable. Look into the FSA headset range, should be able to pick one up for around £25. However, If money's not an issue and your after something abit special for your bike. Their's the Chris King and Hope range. Avaliable in multiple Colours and both offer Strength and durability and on top of all that, they offer a great warrenty service.
