TheMunn
One of my good friends being killed 2 years ago, he was stabbed in the heart. My life seemed to stop for a little bit when that happened, never forget where I was when I heard and everything that happened that day. Nearly died in a car accident when I was a passenger in my mates car when it rolled over, scared the crap out of me.Working with my mate/collegue in a sheet metal factory on a machine when he crushed the top of one his finger off, seeing that happen effected me quite alot. He lost half a finger, kinda scared me about my job now... When I was young I fell over with a wooden spoon in my mouth, it went through the roof of my mouth and caused brain damage. I shouldn't have lived really. Other random stuff, trips to various hospitals and family junk. Usual.
Sneakers O'Toole
whats the deal with that, i want to go the us, but have been arrested. if you admit it you get any hassle??couple of mates just go with criminal records and dont tell them, and get away with it. but id rather not risk that.I just had to fill out a little extra piece of paper declaring what type of conviction thingy i got, but seeing as i got a fine + caution i was ok. I think they may have changed that system now though becasue i know a few people that have gone over with real convictions and not been asked. Maybe a random selection type question. I was also bomb tested in the U.S and got stopped by a sniffer poochy though so they must have thought i looked dodgy!

Ben Cox
from the age of 13 to about 3 month ago having to deal with the fact my mother was a severe alcoholic, coming home from school everyday to find her passed out on the floor in a pool of vomit and piss. It got better and worse but never sorted itself. it finally ended up in her getting sacked from her job (about 2 years ago) claiming benefits, my father divorcing her (she used to abuse him a hell of a lot mental and physical) and ultimately the marital home being reposessed, add this to the fact my father got a new gf who is 23 and she made him kick me out of the house so i had to move back to my mothers, not fun... this threw me into a manic depressive state, where my friends had to take my bike keys from me to stop myself riding in head on traffic!! thankfully that chapter of my life is over and ive started a fresh leaf Ben

(because police still keep everything on record, despite the fact they say they dont)

Barbra
Stabbed! Waht happent after that? Did the police get involvedNah being young and afraid, and the fact it wasn't very serious. (He tried to stab down, either at my neck or shoulder but because i moved he hit my body, and it was just like a small puncture wound. I just told my mum and dad i was faffing with my bike and managed to catch myself, which in all fairness was pretty bloody believable considering i've done much the same on my leg before. They tried to make me go hospital but i hate them so i never went.Jesus! Worse than getting stabbed by a screwdriver! That must be bad!no comment lol Edited February 6, 2008 by Barber

MadManMike
What gun did you get shot with? Who shot you? Not entirely sure, was walking down a road in Hastings, heard a bang from up the street and my shoulder began to sting.Took off my coat to find blood on my shirt. Fairly large quantities.Walked to hospital and had the foreign object removed. Not sure what kind of gun it was, but it was enough to get through a thick coat, shirt and 50% of my shoulder. 4 inches diagonally and I could have had serious injuries! I was out street drinking with friends and my friend pulled a girl - we'd just dropped her at her house so I assume it was her brother or someone shooting as we walked away...Ouch nonetheless. MadManMike
Did you not go to the police? Its good for chatting up the ladies I surpose! No, because the Police are useless and I was very drunk at the time - not good when you're 15. I didn't want my mum to find out so my bro met me at the Hospital Pretty crazy night, looking back! Mod Man Leo
got quite a few, but one of them that i distinctly remember was when i was 13 walking home from school and seeing my front door open, so i walked in and the place was trashed , and had been robbed, i started to look around ,everything was gone that had any value, then i heard talking of about 3 people up stairs, on of them i recognized but i couldn't put my finger on it, then i heard one of em coming downstairs, so i squashed myself under the sofa, and they all came downstairs searching through drawers, in shoe boxes, every were, they even took the silver wear, basically just clearing of shelves onto the floor, i remember me under sofa crying uncontrollably to myself hoping i wouldn't get heard, then two of them sat on the sofa and it crushed me, i broke 4 ribs and cracked 2 then i shouted and they got up and overturned the sofa , i was so scared/ in pain , then i passed out, and i wake up in hospital 2 days later. And i felt useless as f**k, and still do.every time i remember it i feel i could have done so much more. Greetings
Not entirely sure, was walking down a road in Hastings, heard a bang from up the street and my shoulder began to sting.Always wondered, how painful is it? Or is it one of these pains where the body actually stops you from feeling it?
MadManMike
Always wondered, how painful is it? Or is it one of these pains where the body actually stops you from feeling it?Depends where you get hit really, mine was extremely painful - though that may have been down to my age. I'm sure I'd handle it better now.At first it just stung a little, then after 5 mins it really started throbbing. Not nice!
Fish-Finger-er
Always wondered, how painful is it? Or is it one of these pains where the body actually stops you from feeling it?it entirely depends on the gun, knowing a couple of people whove been shot(only in arms and legs) with real weapons it burns like hell apparently, then just turns to a real painful stinging. for air rifles and pistols, ive been shot, and shot myself with, on several occassions, even with the ones that produce power at which they need to licensed, and had to dig the pellets out of myself a couple of times. and it hurts like fook, but its not that bad.(i.e ive had worse biking injuries)
James
Getting nicked and thinkin I was gonne loose my licence was pretty bad
Gavyn.
air rifles aren't to bad to be hit by, most poeple who have them for shooting at people won't spend much on them so usually they'll be no where near the legal limit. also they usually hit the limbs, a good head shot with a decent air rifle could kill you.also it hurts alot more if they hit you first time if you hear a shot whizz by you'll body will brace it's self for the hit and you'll be flooded with adrenaline and be in much less pain.also pellet size makes a big difference and shape I got shot by a .22 dart by my brother out of an 18ft.lbs rifle from about 80 yards and I was in incredible pain and I was expecting it, that was straight on the left side of my ass couldn't sit down for days haha.anyway mine is probs when I got arrested and charged with 5 assults and 6 vandalisms even though I did them I never thought I'd get caught, really stupid and immature of me but has taught me a hard lesson and basically made me turn my whole life around. danny B
The moments before and after i crashed my car. I seriously thought i was going to die. LOL.Both of my car crashes the second one in particuler was a right pain in the ass, i really did think that i was going to die that night. however it was really up and down with the mood seeing as i was just coming back from dropping my gf off and we had just bin at it in the car lol so i definently didn't have me mind on the road o well.Having my crashes on my motorbike when i was a kid and being on the opperating table three times in 1 year ouch.Getting the sh*t kicked out of me at highschool by a lad that was older than me and bigger and his mates helped but there is such thing as karma because about a year ago he was stood next to me in the walkabout toilets when i was on a night out and you wouldn't beleive how in the time between being at school and leaving how much things change he used to be way bigger than me, not the same now. i kicked the living sh*t out of him and left his head it the urinal lmao it was awesome...... i think that we should start a thread on the best moments in life bit more uplifting
