what forks are these?

cheers, Adrian J x

Aww my forks have been recognised!! That's my bike on there. :P

Sorry dude, they are one offs, only ever been one set made.

They are Pace XC forks cut down and rebonded by the previous owner at great expence, you could get it done, but when you think how much the forks cost and then I think he said it was £80 to get them shortened.

They do flex quite a bit more than my Echo Lite's, but it's not a dead flex like aluminium, it's dead springy so they are great for hooking and stuff, but I run the Echo's for normal riding, I don't want to twat the side of them and splinter/crack the carbon. They also feel a bit too flexy for front wheel moves, but they are only 677g, so the weight saved comes in handy when your riding comp style sections.

I havn't done a comp on them yet, will do soon hopefully.

What are you riding?

ah awsome i thought they may flex a little but thats never a bad thing... aha yea you dont want to be cracking/splintering them!

At the moment im just using echo lite forks with a bb7..seems all good but ive had them a while and your forks just caught my eye.

Bike is a zhi zm2.. lovely and flicky to ride being 1005 wheelbase and light but i may have to go a little longer soon, whats the echo lite like to ride? is yours the long or short version?

Correct me if wrong but i think if you contact pace you may be able to get them to do you a set at what ever lenght you want. Try ringing or emailing them and asking if theyll will do you a set with shortened leg lenght. Nopt sure if theyll charge you or not.

Depends which one your talking about. :P

The 06 is a short, 1005mm. The 07 is a long, 1020mm. I will be ordering an 08 long in about an hour.

So I guess you could say they are the best bikes I have ever ridden.

No problem dude, good luck with it.

If not, I know a guy who may be looking into producing a few sets, but it will be a long way off. Can't say more like. ;)

just out of interest, how many people would want a set?
