RR_Trials
Right, I used to play piano for about 2 years back in primary school, then one dya i just suddenly gave up, i think it was because my mum basicly forced it upon me, either way i gave up and decided i didn't like it. Now i wish i didn't I played really quite well, i won a few competitions and was playing at grade 3 or 4 in primary school.Reflecting on it i realise how amazing it actually is to play a musical instrement and now i want to get back into a little tinkering session. So i have decided i am going to buy a keyboard. I don't want to spend alot infact as little as poss as i simply just don't have the money at the moment to be spending on unnesasory things, either way ill end up getting a realy good one if i get back into it.I basicly just want to have a tinker every now and again and so preferably something with a kind of realistic sound and the ability to play multiple notes at the same time (ofcourse)I know very little about keybards as i used to have a real piano, here are a few requirements i would need.Somthing fairy small to git in the corner of my room, perhaps something with one of those small fold away stands, the ability to plug in headphonesand added bonus would be being able to plug it into my computer to record some things i play. (I know i could do this through a headphone socket but i would like to be able to hear what i am playing too.)Now im hoping some of you may no a thing or two about keyboard so other to you guys.Oh and ebay links are cool, infact preferably cheap from ebay would be nice.thankyou. crazy_gap girl
I played for about 8 years, and i still can't read a note, I played mostly by ear.As for keyboards, yamaha do some decent affordable ones, iv only ever had yamaha keyboards. So maybe you should also think about if u want weighted keys or not, because weighted key keyboard will be more money, and heavyer.Just have a look around, keyboard are cheap as chips now for a decent one. Ebays as good as anything. Edited February 3, 2008 by crazy_gap girl
RR_Trials
Oh, i didn't realize you could get weighted keys, thats pretty cool. I might go to a few shops near by and see how much they are roughly.
