Scott Norman
no because most people run grind so that get rid of the side wall colour apart from if your running disk and if your not having a grind or running disk then the side walls colour will where off
beezerdude
is the braking power the same as running smooth rims without paint?
cadbury's cream egg
if you have a grind and some decent pads then your brake power will be alot betterleon
gee
i used to run a try all white rim on the back with maggies (zoo pads) and was the nuts. however pads wore out pretty quickly.
nicks
if you have duel disc but if you have a maggie or a v-ee brake it will come off.
Peperami
Takes a lot longer than a few weeks for the colour to wear off a rear rim, lol
N.Wood
The brake will be the shit with some Plazmatic CRMS in the dry. make sure you keep it clean with muc-off.
cai
I find that having a painted sidewall improves the braking loads. Well on the front anyway!if you have a maggie or a v-ee brake it will come off.I've had my front try-all wheel now for almost two months,I did run a vee but have now switched to maggie - my point is the colour is still perfect (apart from by the join, where the paint is chipped a little) Mine's in white if that makes a diiference.
