Alex Dark
Right, here goes:About a month ago i bought some tensile optimum cranks with a bb for £45 ( gd. condition). To use this setup on my bike i need to buy a tensile freewheel(£15) and a czar bashring(£12)Or,Ive just been offered some echo cranks(green), with a czar bash(red), dmr v8s, fsa bb and eno FFW for £40, unfortunatey the eno has no pwals so i need to spend £36 on it..which should i go for? Muel
I'd get the Tensile, green cranks and red bash? Surely that was ordered when slightly intoxicated.
Al_Fel
I personally would avoid the tensiles I've seen far too many snap for my liking.
Tony Harrison
Ugly spanners.Just another one of those fads. Ooh let's sell of King's and get Pro 2's!! Ooh, let's sell Middleburns and get Tensiles!

I just want an opinion on an ofer thats been made to me...and whether the upgrade of echo cranks+eno would be worth the hassle and money over a tensile and tensile FFW ! ZeroMatt
If those ghetto nameless cranks have survived then there is little to no reason that the tensiles will snap. So save money and keep the zoo looking pimp and get the tensile fw and czar bashring.

sidehop
Get the echos.. NO matter what the colour is.If you look in chit-chat see the topic by me... See the state of my tensiles and ankle...100% avoid them.
The Duck
Go for the Echos, performance over looks. Can strip 'em if you really want to too.
JonMack
Go for the Echos, performance over looks. Can strip 'em if you really want to too.Defo. Just get them and strip the bash and cranks back to silver. I would.
Luke Rainbird
I wouldAnother vote for Echos and strippers
cai
get the echos for £40 and you say you can get a tensile freewheel for £15, do that.you can always nitromors/paint the cranks + bash. And my tensile freewheel has lasted my nine months so far and still no skips.
