Cloverfield?

Yeah, for a good flash of the blurry camera. You get to see the little monsters more, they reminded me of the monsters from Starship Troopers.

That's probably my favourite bit of the film, when they are running through a subway tunnel. Works really well.

i found it hard to focus with the camera setup. its a film with the most loose ends ive ever seen, but i heard the director does them 'like that'

you get to see the big monster that takes the head of the statue off, and the little ones.

storyline abit shit, the

group attempts to find one woman somewhere, quite lame

i haven't seen i am legend heard its alright though, this is terrible seriously just a chore to watch, more frustrating that anything else and the storyline must of taken the best part of 45 minutes to think up.

the advert makes it look much better than it is

Ignore everyone, this film is really, really good. The problem is that everyone is going in to see the monster when infact the film is more of a disaster piece revolving around the characters journey. I don't know if anyone else kept up with the viral marketing as well, but I did and think that's cool as well. If you are unaware of this, here's a nice rundown;

Cloverfield Viral Rundown

I felt I had a genuine connection with the characters, especially with the phonecall in the subway. The camera was slightly annoying, but it added to the atmosphere and confusion of the film. Did anyone else wtch the final scene closely? It's things like that which make J.J.Abram's work awesome and involving. Anyways, go and see this film, it's a fresh and creative idea pulled off very well.

I recommend "No Country for Old Men" as one of the best films I've seen over the last couple of years and that's currently at the cinema. It's essentially a thriller with an intelligent message. Always a gamble though, especially as it is somewhat unconventional it certain respects.

The cloverfield trailer does look quite cool though.

Just attempted to watch Cloverfield, only lasted about 5 minutes. That camera work is extremely annoying.

Fastforwarded to the action and that was terrible aswell, currently watching meet the spartans which is slightly amusing.
