BIKER-BEN @.CO.UK
well i wood go for the mono mini because the mono trials sponges and not nic to use but with the mono mini dus not spong and is very sharp on most bikes as long as it is set up right Edited February 1, 2008 by BIKER-BEN @.CO.UK
spartan
Umm, last time i checked the mono mini had a 20mm piston and the mono trials had a 30mm one.The mono trials is vastly superior to the mini in terms of power, modulation and feel.I find the that mono minis will feel really nice but they wont stop you very well. I have one on the front of my czar and evertime you gap to front it will slip like theres no tomorrow. The mono trial does feel a little spongy but you know the wheel is going to lock and not slide all over the place.I would never run a mono mini on the back and only on the front as a last resort.Cheers,Ian

Muel
LMAO at this thread. For a start, why ask? It's got the word TRIALS after it, so take a wild guess. They are not spongey at all, I have now had 4, and they are not "spongey" like a boosterless rear maggy, they just have some movement in the lever when the pads hit the disc, so you have loads of modulation.Ashley had it spot on, they are just better for trials. trials_noir
the mono-trials is a realy good brake but to be honest any Hydraulic disk would do, i ride a hayes hfx 9 xc brake and it rides sweet,
