Get a tub of BLUE EASE creme £5 (think there is a special offer price on that this month) from your nearest Holland & Barrett store and rub it gently into your wrists. that will help the healing process. as for the powerball, that will help strengthen your wrists.

Hey there, some of you know that I injured my right wrist quite badly about a year and a half ago.

Finally, it seems to be getting good enough to be able to ride on. Though it doesn't seem 100% yet. The thing is after numerous scans of all sorts, there was no major problem detected, but there is excessive clonking and clicking inside. I NEVER properly rehabbed it like most injuries should be treated, but only just started to use the Powerball about 5 mins per day. Is the powerball effective for rehabbing chronic wrist pains?

Anyways, I can do a lot of the stuff I used to be able to, but far less naturally. One thing I never got around to nailing was sidehops to my backfoot before I got injured. It's one of my priorities in trials right now, just to nail it. I just find it god damned awkward to swing the rear end to that side... Are there any pre-requisits that would help? Like maybe learning how to do 180 endos to my opposite side to get the motion of swinging the rear end around that way?

But yes: shall I continue powerballing? and should I try some pre-requisit basic moves to aid sidehopping to my bad side?

self-reffer to physio if you've not already, there is one exercise you can do everyday a for bout five mins that will help your wrist :P

im in the same boat as you mate.

the key to any come back form injury is persistance! keep going for it! as the old saying goes, no pain no gain.

most of the time the pain is temporary as you use it more in then way it is going to be used your body gets used to it.

im having real difficulties with my left foot, fractured ankle in pot for 6 weeks, come out couldnt walk!!!! then tried to ride bike couldnt so didnt for a further week.

THEN when i could ride it had "sharp" pains in the "floor" of my foot where i was putting all the pressure through the foot. personally i would give Si a call the Physio on here ask him for some pointers and he will be able to offer the best advice possible his number is 07830151250

i am still incurring aches and pains but si told me it was the nerve receptors that arent used to the impact and pressure i am putting on my foot, so i just go out and have to bite my tongue a bit, i know from previous injuries it just doesnt come back that easy, you have to bide your time and you will get there in the end (Y):D

id say have a word wi si and poss get a train over to see him??? if your in surrey? si is somehwere near Bristol.

im sure he would be more than happy to see you? as seeing and feeling someones injury is much better (no rudeness meant!)

My injury has been very problematic since a "drinking" injury 3 Christmas's ago,when i fell off a sign 10ft up, i climbed up, was stood on the top of it outside the fire station and just lost my balance and fell, luckily landed on my feet, pretty flat footed but nakerd my ligaments, and ever since i have gone over on my ankle quite easily a few times.

After Si had spoken to me all these 2/3 years ago he gave me advice, i chose NOT to listen, i then nakerd my ankle before xmas and Si came to see me and advised me on what to do, how to do it etc, 3 weeks ago i went down to see him, he removed the pot and did a bit of physio on it, advised what to do and after my ride today im very happy with my progression of my injury.

All thanks to Si (Y):) sound bloke, offers good free advice and is very good on price in looking after us trials riders.
