Gandalf the Yellow
right, i have a DOB 08 with 116mm dropout, and i want to run a monty hub on it (white is damn pimping)-(i believe its 106mm for monty frames)on trials-uk.co.uk dan says its also compatible with 110mm, but the question is will it work with the DOB frame with snail cams??sorry for being a retard, but help would be nicesteve EDIT:got another question really. i have a SKF bb and its pretty much brand new, they're lush and don't really want to get another bb for the DOB, i've got tryall isis cranks and symmetrik bashring planning to go on the new bike, and with the monty hub i will need to run freewheel. what is the best way to do this? obviously getting an ENO, but it may not work with the SKF as a ffw right?does it mean i can run the FW on the back and have a tiny fixed cog on the cranks instead?cheers Edited January 29, 2008 by StinkEE
ZeroMatt
Well I don't know from experience but from those figures I'd say yes. The snail cams act as spacers and I think some are wider than others. Maybe just the monty ones are thinner?
Simpson
Have a look on Biketrialstation.com The blokes speak great English and quoted me under 125quid for a DOB frame including insured postage, could save you a BOMB man. basher
Dont quite me. But hubs are 110mm spaceing and the snail cams make it up to 116mm spacings which frames are. So the monty hub (106mm) will work but you will probs have to use a washer on both sides. Edited January 29, 2008 by basher

JoeM
It should be fine, I have to run spacers and chain tugs on my zoo with a monty hub. Although watch the chainline otherwise you might have the chain start to rub on the frame.
