JD™
Hi Guys,The titles should have warned you this is slightly off the wall... but i was wondering whether anyone knows anything about ovens...I just noticed that the main oven of my 2 oven cooker isn't working... it's a fan oven and when you turn it on, the fan turns on and the light turns on but it doesn't get hot... anyone know what might be wrong? This will be a miracle to get answered in a trials forum!J

JD™
all good responses.... but unfortunately not right... the top oven works, so it's not a clock thing or anything like that. and Jolfa: suprisingly enough your link doesnt work J

I've had 2 separate experiences of ovens not working (in the latter case, only one oven worked) because the clock wasn't set.
Danny
Ours did the same several weeks ago. Think its just the heating element that's had it.

Boswell
Why do the Admins know so much about ovens?
JD™
Because they earn so much from the ads on this site, that they have many properties and many ovens..... some of them break and when they have the super expensive repairmen round they ask what was wrong... or something.J

MadManMike
I used to part-own sparecentre.co.ukIt's definitely your Heating Element.Go on sparecentre.co.uk and search for your cookers model number, element should be around £30!May be a special order though so could take a month to arrive (Most are not in stock ANYWHERE, ordered in from abroad)(Oh dear, I sound like I still work there )EDIT: Forget that, they've closed down. try searching google for espares instead, they are good enough. MadManMike
T-F knows all really. Mainly thanks to Google.. Not just that though, there's so many people on here someone is bound to have worked in that field I worked with two others running sparecentre.co.uk for almost a year, then me and one other left because the company hit problems - now it seems the last guy has decided to fold
