Cheers lads! Aye its 12t fixed sproket! Im trying a chain round it and pole technique but its taking alot of pressure! It will be anti-cockwise to come off? But i suppose its the 2000 model so its been on there for about 7 years! haha! Worried about twisting the spokes, should i be?

my way was to get the chain aswel as the wheel,

wrap the chain around the cog,

put the hanging bit of the chain in a vice,

and simply turn the wheel.

allthough using a chain whip would most proberly be a quicker way to do it!

i tried removing a sprocket by using a chain whip once ,and the chain snapped resulting in me punching myself very hard in the face :ermm:

That happend to me when i first tried to get the sprocket off...second time it came off :D
