hello

im just wondering if anyone else has had the dmr sis tensioner come realy loose like a day after putting it on or after tightening it. im pretty sure im not setting it up right ive even took it to a shop they tightend it and its just came loose. im acchuly scared to ride it for the moment just incase it comes too loose and then the chain falls off(i might just be being stupid). well anyway the main question is is it a good tensioner or just a totaly crap one!

I'm sorry to say this but DMR have never made a good tensioner.

My advice for the future if you want something to rely on is a 74 kingz tensioner which can be found on tarty. At £35 it's abit pricey but once you've come to terms with the realisation it cost them 50p to make in a factory its all good because its a quality piece of kit that you can really rely on. Just chuck it on and forget about it.

use a normal rear mech and just use the final jicky wheel on its own

take one side of the cage off and cut down what ever is left

then get a botl to fit or use the other side of the cage cut down to hold the jocky wheel in place

easy cheap solution

with excelent tension
